Subject analysis what to study and what not to for entrances???

Clearing an entrance is not rocket science its planning ,smart work and of course hard work as well . here I would like to tell you how to prepare for the three subjects physics ,chemistry and maths.

It is often seen that people good  in mathematics are good in physics as well ,but they are not so interested in chemistry if  you are one of them then of course you and me both have something in common . I have seen generally that mostly girls are good in chemistry and hate mathematics and physics . but these factors are not at all something to be happy about these are general patterns and patterns are boring as they are predictable ,and people setting the entrance question papers are well aware of this fact . So the conclusion is you need to focus on two subjects minimum for getting through , for any entrance fifty percent is enough to get admission in a good college .

1. Physics , well  if you want to pursue engineering then you need physics concepts for sure without any doubts in mind try to understand the concepts well instead of cramming the things or mugging up the derivations (which your teacher said are the most important lol :) ) understand the concepts very well and practice numerical as much as you can physics is a very interesting subject if you have the hold of concepts ,so in my advice understand instead of mugging things up.

2.   Chemistry , often regarded as one of the boring subjects by the one who loves physics and mathematics "Generally" we must not forget that it is the subject that is going to help you clear your entrance it is the most important of the three as it will help you reach the cutoff marks in every entrance , rest you need is some more marks to achieve your goal of a good college . well not only in entrance , in boards as well if you have a good hold on chemistry then you can expect a decent percentage in C.B.S.E . so please don't ignore this important subject .

3 Mathematics , last but not the least the subject loved the most by us is maths , in an entrance like I.P.U.C.E.T where you get less time and no individual cutoff is there you need to be fast , as you need to attempt the maximum number of questions correctly , I would not advice you to completely ignore this subject but it takes time to solve a mathematics question so try to attempt the mathematics part in the last so that you can do maximum physics and chemistry questions which are simpler than maths question , and therefore your chances of getting the entrance clear are improved in the end if you are left with time do attempt this part ( i never told you to leave it). but try to attempt simple questions also try to do the maximum questions as quantity does matter .

One more thing that I would like to tell you guys is that please solve the previous year question papers before , so that you can get an idea of how the exam is going to be like .

For any other doubt comment below and I will try to answer your query .

How to get admission in G.G.S.I.P.U Delhi??

You are done with your boards now, what next the so called career dilemmas what career to choose ,what you want to be the pressure is there , the heat is on for you and you probably feel like the bowler balling the last crucial over of the match ,on over and 1 run to win it all depends on you now the future of your team depends on you , chillax bro its not that tough now if you have your C.B.S.E basics with you as simple as that not only for a simple C.E.T  but for any entrance test that's you must have heard people saying  "stick to your basics"
The options that you have now
1. join a good crash course.
2. Study at home.

Now first one is definitely a good option if you did study well in your 11th and 12th . Doing this will brush up your concepts and will prepare you well for engineering entrances so this is definitely not at all a bad choice but the trick is to join the right coaching institute since many fakes are available in the market and if by chance you joined the fake one your money is gone and you are going to regret so how, to decide ???
well the right answer to this is ask your senior instead of going to the institutes and asking them why to join????

2. If by reading this option you are laughing very hard then my friend its time to get a bit serious,
yes you can prepare well at home but all you need is dedication , N.C.E.R.T books and a good reference book like Arihant , you must have heard Arihant publication's name before they are definitely trust worthy to an extent some times thy do have printing mistakes but they make books from the examination point of view so they can be trusted , they make sample papers particularly for exams also , so search for them or any other good publications.

If you know any other good publisher then please comment below , so that others can also get help from it , also if you have any questions in your mind comment I'll try to answer them for you

Things a normal G.G.S.I.P.U guy will go through in his First year of engineering .

Well You are into a college now so you must be wondering how is your College life is going to be like in the following four years , Being an I.P.U engineering final year student I would like to share with  you guys about my experience of my first years.

First Year
Well you start off first day at the college, you get to see new faces at college new experiences new faces scared you , thinking you may be ragged by your seniors (just because you heard about it from a door ka cousin the way they treat  you at college on first day is not that happening).
well you may get yourself into trouble if you don't treat everybody the right way . So try to be calm for the first few days .
you will make new friends and some of them are going to be with you till the final year. Try observing everyone at first then make your move.  After sometime when you have enough of friends you will eventually start bunking the classes with them (* In the morning you'll get a call from them abusing you "abey kahan mara raha  hai bey kabse tera wait kar raha hun yahan Rajeev Chowk pe ") and then the FIRST SESSIONAL   exams .Your faculty teachers are going to frighten you with what they call a detention list they have prepared and they will call the parents of the students whose name are there in the list.
Horrifying isn't it some of   you will ask your seniors is it true or not is your American bunking dream gonna end?? and as usual they will boast about how their attendance was minimum of all and still they managed by so called JUGAADS .If  the senior  you know is a studious chap then god bless you as you are going to get the  worst advice of the lifetime
"why did you do this , ours is a reputed college now ,you will be detained and wont be allowed to sit in the sessionals bro, now you are gone teri toh back lagegi ab may be Y.B(year back)  "
well relax a bit even if your attendance is not that much you will be warned this time , and may be you parents might be called for sure .

Advice try not to fill your parents contact numbers in the registration forms and the other places .
Then time passes by and you are going to swear to yourself that you are not going to repeat the same thing the next time and guess what You end up doing the same sh*t again .
Congratulations buddy, same set of things are going to happen again to you next time also and Finally End Term exams.
On a chilly winter morning  you''ll be expected to be at the examination center the pain of getting up from the bed and that too on a morning which is whispering your sleep please don.t leave me alone sweet heart , let's not get apart , we are  meant to be together forever  .But then you have to go , you enter the hall and with your hands shivering you fill the details in the sheet , meanwhile a teacher in his 40's arrives near you and says,"Beta ye toh black pen se bubble fill karna tha " and you are like  now you have to go through all that monotonous task of  filling the bubbles again, then you take the question paper in your hands and then you realize that of all the answers that you have mugged up from bhavya/ akash   none have been asked in the paper ,
then you ask the examiner around hundred  times sir ,"how much time is left".and every time he answers "Beta jab time khatm ho jayega toh bata denge aapko" .if you are lucky enough there will be a good female teacher in the exam hall , and some how you will be able to pass your time (just kiddding). there will be so called people from flying as they call the ones who are sent by University to catch people cheating in the exams . They will catch one or two unlucky ones and then trouble them for an hour by saying "Beta tera to unfair means ka case banaunga main". then time will pass by normal people will be celebrating Christmas, new year 31st and you will be going through END TERMS.
So basically yeah, hello and welcome to I.P.U forget new year, Christmas for the next few years bro, then exams end , and all you will do in the beginning of the next semester is "Ab naya sem hai abse theek se padhunga aur achhe marks launga " but then "Thats all folks bro"

Government engineering colleges under G.G.S.I.P.U New Delhi

Now u think that u want to do engineering just from a government engineering college only as they are cool or probably u got a notion that they are better than private but you may be doing a mistake my friend , please do read a list created by me on the first post and if for some reason you still think that you want to your engineering from  government colleges only then for you convenience only I am creating a list  of Government engineering colleges under G.G.S.I.P.U.

1)U.S.I.T(University School of Information Technology)(not a government college)
Well this is not a government college for sure its the main university campus but its annual fee is comparatively less in comparison to the other private colleges. it is definitely a good college from placement point of view and you need a ranking of within 1000 in the i.p.u cet  if you want to get admission in this prestigious college.

2)Ambedkar Institute of Advanced Communication  Technologies & Research
(Formerly known as Ambedkar Institute of Technology) Government of NCT, Delhi Geeta Colony, Delhi - 110031, India
This one is surely a good one if you are having a good rank in i.p.u C.E.T(common engineering test) it is a good college having two engineering and several other M.tech courses.

3)G.B.Pant Govt. Engineering College
Near Govindpuri Metro Station, Okhla Phase III Road, Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi - 110020, India
Well here comes another good one , G.B.PE.C the only  govt. college having mechanical and automation engineering it is one of the best and known for this branch good thing is if you are a metro rider then it is near a metro station to suit you Asia's biggest computer market i.e Nehru place is near it (a good bunking spot for hanging out) .

4)   National Power Training Institute
   Badarpur N.T.P.C New Delhi.
Well fourth on  the list is N.P.T.I which  of course is a good college from placement point of view but the thing is it is a bit monotonous (for the one who wants a happening college life) life can be a bit boring here as it is having a single branch only which is Power Engineering the college infra is also not impressing no ground for playing, also the strength of female engineers is very less (just kidding).

5)Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering Campus
II, Shri Ma Anandmayi Marg, Okhla Industrial Area, Phase - II, New Delhi - 110020, India
Fifth and second last on the list is this one placements good but since it is having two branches only college life can be a bit boring and one of the branch (mechatronics) is started by the college few years ago. so nothing can be said about its placement till now.

6)Ch. Brahm Prakash Govt. Engineering College
(An institute specializing in Civil & Environmental Engg.) Jafferpur, New Delhi - 110073, India
Last but not the least is this one placements very poor no chances of on campus, you have to manage it on your own. run entirely by guest faculties and future of the students is at risk, well only govt college that offers Engineering in civil so risk can be taken for this core branch only here .connectivity is poor this is situated on the outskirts of Delhi.

I have tried my best to give you the maximum knowledge about these colleges I am a student of I.P.U only and every year people take admission in I.P.U unaware of the many important things and fact blindly just for the sake of doing Engineering , So please gather enough info and then take any decision .

If you have any doubt you can comment below and I'll try my best to answer them as soon as possible.
