Now u think that u want to do engineering just from a government engineering college only as they are cool or probably u got a notion that they are better than private but you may be doing a mistake my friend , please do read a list created by me on the first post and if for some reason you still think that you want to your engineering from government colleges only then for you convenience only I am creating a list of Government engineering colleges under G.G.S.I.P.U.
1)U.S.I.T(University School of Information Technology)(not a government college)
Well this is not a government college for sure its the main university campus but its annual fee is comparatively less in comparison to the other private colleges. it is definitely a good college from placement point of view and you need a ranking of within 1000 in the i.p.u cet if you want to get admission in this prestigious college.
2)Ambedkar Institute of Advanced Communication Technologies & Research
(Formerly known as Ambedkar Institute of Technology) Government of NCT, Delhi Geeta Colony, Delhi - 110031, India
This one is surely a good one if you are having a good rank in i.p.u C.E.T(common engineering test) it is a good college having two engineering and several other M.tech courses.
3)G.B.Pant Govt. Engineering College
Near Govindpuri Metro Station, Okhla Phase III Road, Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi - 110020, India
Well here comes another good one , G.B.PE.C the only govt. college having mechanical and automation engineering it is one of the best and known for this branch good thing is if you are a metro rider then it is near a metro station to suit you Asia's biggest computer market i.e Nehru place is near it (a good bunking spot for hanging out) .
4) National Power Training Institute
Badarpur N.T.P.C New Delhi.
Well fourth on the list is N.P.T.I which of course is a good college from placement point of view but the thing is it is a bit monotonous (for the one who wants a happening college life) life can be a bit boring here as it is having a single branch only which is Power Engineering the college infra is also not impressing no ground for playing, also the strength of female engineers is very less (just kidding).
5)Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering Campus
II, Shri Ma Anandmayi Marg, Okhla Industrial Area, Phase - II, New Delhi - 110020, India
Fifth and second last on the list is this one placements good but since it is having two branches only college life can be a bit boring and one of the branch (mechatronics) is started by the college few years ago. so nothing can be said about its placement till now.
6)Ch. Brahm Prakash Govt. Engineering College
(An institute specializing in Civil & Environmental Engg.) Jafferpur, New Delhi - 110073, India
Last but not the least is this one placements very poor no chances of on campus, you have to manage it on your own. run entirely by guest faculties and future of the students is at risk, well only govt college that offers Engineering in civil so risk can be taken for this core branch only here .connectivity is poor this is situated on the outskirts of Delhi.
I have tried my best to give you the maximum knowledge about these colleges I am a student of I.P.U only and every year people take admission in I.P.U unaware of the many important things and fact blindly just for the sake of doing Engineering , So please gather enough info and then take any decision .
If you have any doubt you can comment below and I'll try my best to answer them as soon as possible.
